GearDryer’s Freestanding 12 Boot and Glove Dryer delivers more than 200 CFM of forced airflow to quickly evaporate and remove moisture from your gear, allowing you to start every day dry and warm. It plugs directly into a standard wall socket and includes leg levelers to ensure stable placement on the floor of your gear room, mud room, garage or entryway.

Every GearDryer has a switch to turn on a self-regulating heat element that increases the air temperature approximately 25ºF above the ambient air temperature. This gentle heat increase is safe on gear yet effectively speeds up dry times. The Freestanding 12 features five pre-programmed dry cycles ranging from 15 minutes to 24 hours and shuts off automatically upon completion of the cycle, allowing you to set it and forget it.

The Freestanding 12’s unique twist-and-lock port design allows you to customize the port layout to create the perfect drying system for a wide range of gear items such as running shoes, ski boots, ski gloves, work boots and fly fishing waders. Close off the dryer ports not in use with the six included port caps to increase the airflow in the ports being used.

Where can I ship my order?

Gear.com orders can be shipped within the continental US. We don’t currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, US territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, Saipan, Midway Islands, American Samoa, and Federated States of Micronesia), international reshippers or businesses that forward packages to international addresses.

When will I receive my order?

When you enter your shipping address during checkout, each available shipping method will automatically update with estimated delivery dates. Once you select the shipping method and complete your order, the estimated delivery date will be listed in your order confirmation email

Can I check order status or track shipping?

You can log into your account and check your order status anytime after it’s placed. Tracking information will also be emailed to you when the order ships.

Does Gear.com offer free shipping?

On most products, Gear.com offers free ground shipping anywhere in the continental US for any order of $89 or more. For any orders below $89, a flat rate of $8.95 for ground shipping is charged. Expedited shipping options are not being offered at this time.

Most Gear.com orders can be returned anytime within 30 days of purchase for any reason, as long as the product is unwashed/unworn/unused, and is still in its original packaging with original hangtags, etc. Some exceptions apply, such as products where the purchase is final (no returns) because they are on clearance sale or for other reasons, and will be noted on the product’s detail page. Please take note when placing your order.

If you experience a manufacturer defect outside of Gear.com’s return window for an order, please contact the manufacturer directly since many brands will honor returns in situations of manufacturer defect.

A few easy steps for returns & exchanges:

If you need to return an item, and it is within the Gear.com return window for that item, please go into “Your Orders” which is linked under your profile at the top of the page. In the “Your Orders” section you can click “Report an Issue” where you can request a Return Authorization. Once you’ve submitted that request, we’ll get back to you with instructions often including a Return Authorization number.

Then pack up your item and ship it back to the address provided in the instructions. Once the returned item is verified to be in the condition required, then a refund will be processed.

If you wish to exchange for a different size or color, then once the refund is processed then we can help you place a new order for the desired item and ship it out to you.
